An improved cooperation search algorithm for the multi-degree reduction in Ball Bézier surfaces

Cooperation search algorithm (CSA) is a new metaheuristic inspired from the team cooperation behaviors in modern enterprises and characterized by fast convergence. However, for complex multimodal problems, it may get trapped into local optima suffer premature convergence shortcoming of population updating guided only leading individuals. In this paper, issue low efficiency accuracy CSA on problems dramatically alleviated integrating mutation crossover operators DE algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate better performance CCSA speed as compared to other existing optimizers. Furthermore, aiming at problem that there no universal approach multi-degree reduction Ball Bézier surfaces under different interpolation constrains, we propose method solve introducing methods, where change constrains treated decision variables. The modeling examples show proposed effective easy implement which can achieve one time simplify degree procedure significantly.
